Alternate Pension & Benefit Trust
The Alternate Pension and Benefits Board accounts for the distribution of retirement benefits to beneficiaries covered under the Alternate Pension and Benefits Fund.

Board of Adjustment
The Board of Adjustment is comprised of five residents of the City of Cottonwood appointed by the City Council for staggered three year terms.

Historic Preservation Commission
The Historic Preservation Commission is comprised of seven members, at least five of whom shall be residents of the city, and two of whom need not be residents of the city, provided they have substantial ties to the city, such as owning real property, owning a business, being employed within the city limits, or based on other factors deemed relevant by the city council. Commission members serve for terms of three years.

Library Advisory Board
The Library Advisory Board shall make recommendations to the city council and the city manager on the general policies of the library and such specific matters that may affect Cottonwood public library users as they see fit.

Municipal Property Corporation
The Corporation reviews the City's Annual Report, and is required by the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) to file a Corporation Annual Report and Certification of Disclosure along with the Listing of all Municipal Corporation Officers and Directors.

Personnel Board
The purpose of the City of Cottonwood Personnel board is to hear appeals of employees' grievances, disciplinary actions, and dismissals in accordance with City policy and the policies set forth in the Employee Manual.

Planning & Zoning Commission
The seven members of the Planning and Zoning Commission are citizen volunteers appointed by the City Council to conduct hearings and make recommendations to the City Council on requests for development applications, including proposed zoning changes and subdivisions.
