City of Cottonwood seeking members for its Airport Commission

COTTONWOOD, AZ – The City of Cottonwood is accepting applications to fill three volunteer seats on the Airport Commission: two full 3-year terms and one partial term expiring March 4, 2028. Appointments are made by the City Council.

 

The Airport Commission is a five-member advisory body that supports the City Council and staff on matters related to the Cottonwood Municipal Airport. The Commission plays a vital role in enhancing airport operations, safety, and services for residents and airport users. 

 

Open positions include:

  • One airport tenant/lessee or person with aviation-experience who resides within City limits
  • One airport tenant/lessee or aviation-experienced applicant (no residency requirement)
  • One City resident representing the general public (no aviation experience required)

 

Residents and airport stakeholders who are interested in serving the community and contributing to the success and safety of the Cottonwood Municipal Airport are strongly encouraged to apply.
