City of Cottonwood to Host Ribbon Cutting for New Playground at Riverfront Park
COTTONWOOD, AZ – The City of Cottonwood Parks & Recreation Department is excited to invite the community to the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the brand-new playground structure at Riverfront Park (1284 E. River Front Road) on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 10 a.m.
This celebration marks the completion of a long-anticipated improvement project aimed at enhancing recreational opportunities for youth in Cottonwood. The new playground, chosen by the public in the latest Pick Your Park campaign, features modern, inclusive equipment in a bright color palette designed to spark creativity and encourage active play for children of all ages!
The event will include brief remarks from city leaders and staff, a ceremonial ribbon cutting, and the opportunity for attendees to be among the first to enjoy the new playground
Community members, families, and media are encouraged to attend. Bring your kids and help us celebrate the newest addition to the Cottonwood parks system which has arrived just in time for summer fun!
