Pre-construction Notification New Roundabout at Main St. & 10th St.
COTTONWOOD, AZ – On Tuesday, December 17 the contract for the construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of 10th Street and Main Street was approved by City Council. The contract was awarded to Combs Construction Company, Inc. The new roundabout will correct the offset intersection and provide a safe intersection that will function at a high level of service.
Construction will commence starting the week of January 20. The City’s contractor will make every effort to maintain traffic throughout construction, however, travelers can expect intermittent lane closures, lane closures and traffic shifts as construction progresses. Use of alternate routes is encouraged. Access to adjacent businesses and parks will be maintained throughout the project.
The City would like to remind drivers and pedestrians to obey all traffic control devices as they travel through the work zone. We appreciate your patience as we complete these improvements.
