The Cottonwood Community Garden is located at Riverfront Park, west of the Cottonwood Dog Park.
Marianne Jiménez, City Clerk, a Master Gardener, was appointed as the Garden Manager by the Cottonwood City Council.
Plots and Fees
Garden plots are open for lease for the 2019 gardening year (February 1, 2019-January 31, 2020.) The fee to lease a 16 x 16-foot garden plot is $40 (extra keys are available for $2.00 each), with a $50 refundable clean-up deposit required. There is no additional charge for water and gardening tools are provided.
The Cottonwood Community Garden has been designated as an organic garden. Any fertilizers, soil amendments, pest, weed, and disease control products used in the garden must be listed under the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) products list. The list is provided on OMRI's website.
